History
Salarybase is a privately owned Limited company founded in 1978 as Liveware, Providing a range of information system services.
In 1983 we developed the first PC Based Human Resource System in the country for Esso South Africa, later to become Zenex Oil.
FSA Contact purchased the software and marketed the system for 10 years as Personnelbase.
The Salarybase Payroll System was developed to serve clients that required a payroll solution, as FSA Contact did not wish to be in the payroll market.
In 1991 Salarybase and Personnelbase became a totally intergraded Human Resource and Payroll System under the trade name of Salarybase.
With the explosion of new business for the Salarybase product, it was felt that the company name should be the same as the product name and Liveware was changed to Salarybase.
As Salarybase we have provided customised payroll and HR solutions for the last 14 years.
In 2005 we broadened our scope to Retail and Point of Sales systems, incorporating our wealth of experiance into these integrated systems.

We have Consultants in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. All are experienced in payroll and human resources installation and training. We service all major centres from our Head Office and support centre.
Our philosophy is to install the system fully customised to suit the clients requirements and train the clients staff so that they are self sufficient.
Support is via online help, support desk and internet, if required we will install a consultant on site for the time required.
